Former Brazil forward Ronaldo Nazario has spoken to Neymar after the country's exit from the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Biz reports that the attacker has called on the 34-year-old not to rush into decisions about leaving the national team and is confident that he is still needed by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
"Don't demand anything from yourself and don't make any decisions now; there's no need for that. Now no one needs to make any decisions. He has technical qualities. Now he just needs to be physically fit to be a key player again. After a while, he'll be back in shape and who knows, maybe Ancelotti will see him as an option for the Brazil national team", - quotes TNT Sports Brasil the words of Ronaldo.
Neymar played two games in the tournament and scored one goal. Brazil was eliminated from the competition after losing 2-1 to Norway in the 1/8 finals. The striker is the top scorer in the history of the national team (80 goals) and plays for Santos. Ancelotti's contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation runs until 2030.
