Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, has been playing for Al-Nassr since 2023, joining the Saudi Arabian Pro League after an unsuccessful return to Manchester United.
Under the contract signed with the Saudi club in June, Ronaldo is reportedly set to earn at least 495 million euros over the next 24 months.
Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the new contract also gives Ronaldo a 15 percent stake in Al-Nassr, meaning he is now a co-owner of the Saudi club. If a potential sale materializes, the deal could further increase Ronaldo's earnings.
According to Saudi journalist Ahmed Al-Ajlan, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) is preparing to sell its stakes in Al-Nassr and three other clubs.
PIF owns 75 percent of the country's four largest teams, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal, while the remaining 25 percent belongs to the country's Ministry of Sports. However, potential sales will cover investments in both clubs, so Ronaldo could receive a large fee.
