Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is close to joining Chicago Fire. According to Sport24.az, insider Fabrizio Romano shared the news on his X social media account.
Lewandowski has traveled to the US with his agent Pini Zahavi to finalize the transfer. The MLS club is making every effort to reach an agreement with the Polish player.
Chicago plans to offer a two or three-year contract, with the duration of the agreement depending on Lewandowski's decision.
It's worth noting that Lewandowski will leave Barcelona as a free agent at the end of the season. He has been playing for the Catalan club since 2022. This season, the Polish player has played 46 games in all tournaments, scoring 18 goals and making 4 assists.
