Referees will use body cameras at the 2025 Club World Cup. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by Pierluigi Collina, President of the FIFA Referees Committee.
It is planned to broadcast live footage from the cameras during matches:
"We believe this is a good opportunity to offer fans a new experience in terms of images taken from an angle that has never been presented. This also has a purpose in terms of training referees. Because it is important to understand what the referee saw, how the referee judged, what his opinion was, etc. in order to evaluate."
