The referees for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina have been announced. According to Sport24.az, the main referee of the match will be Slovenian Slavko Vinçiç. He will be assisted by his compatriots Tomaj Klançnik and Andraj Kovaçiç.
The fourth official will be Adham Makhadmeh, and the reserve assistant referee will be Mohammad Al-Khalaf, both from Jordan.
Vinçiç has refereed two group stage matches in this World Cup - Brazil - Morocco 1:1, Jordan - Algeria 1:2, as well as the 1/16 final match - Mexico - Ecuador 2:0.
Vinçiç has shown one red and seven yellow cards in three games.
Note that the Spain - Argentina match will be held on July 19 in East Rutherford, USA, and will start at 23:00 Baku time.
