The details of Algerian national team player Yassin Benzia's decision not to extend his contract with "Qarabag" have become known.
Idman.biz reports with reference to Sport24.az that negotiations were held between the parties regarding a new agreement.
However, the salary offered by the Azerbaijani champion was much lower than the salary offered by the representatives of the French League 2 and the Tunisian club "Esperance." For this reason, the midfielder did not want to stay in Azerbaijan. There is even a possibility that the football player, who reached a preliminary agreement with "Esperance," may refuse this club as well. Because his teammates in the national team stated that there is interest in Benzia in Saudi Arabia as well.
It should be noted that Benzia was remembered for 25 goals and 25 assists in 97 games he played for "Qarabag."
