Rashad Sadygov: "It is impossible to make predictions about the future"

"We had a difficult away game. "Shamakhi" is in good shape in the last rounds. We knew it would be difficult for us. Character and game discipline are important against such teams. My players reacted well after conceding a goal. At the end of the first half, we stood out from a standard situation. The second half was a more persistent game. We were the winning side. But "Shamakhi" also played great football." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Rashad Sadygov, the head coach of "Zira", at the press conference held after the match with "Shamakhi" in the 19th round of the Misli Premier League.

- We watched two different halves. What was the reason for your game not working in the first half?

- In the first half, the opponent applied aggressive pressing. Our collective game did not work in the first half. In the second half, it worked well. We won a very important 3 points.

- What happened between Ruan Renato and Aydin Bayramov?

- I didn't see what happened there. I hope nothing serious happens. It was a tense and stressful game. These things happen. They hugged each other in the dressing room. What happened on the field stayed on the field.

- Is "Zira" psychologically ready for the upcoming intense part of the championship?

- It is never possible to make predictions about the future. But I think that my players should be more psychologically attentive and analyze the opponents. It's not the championship of 3-4 years ago. Today, everyone plays head-to-head with each other. We need to be more responsible.
