Neftchi player Ramil Sheydayev scored his 40th goal in Azerbaijani championships. Sport24.az reports that his jubilee coincided with the XXIX round of the Misli Premier League.
The 29-year-old striker, who converted a penalty in the 42nd minute of the away match against Shamakhi (2:0), scored his 40th goal in his 127th game. He scored 30 times for Qarabag (75 games), 6 times for Sabah (28 games), and 4 times for Neftchi (24 games).
Ramil is the 67th player in the history of the country's championships to score 40 or more goals.
It should be noted that Sheydayev reached Mehman Allahverdiyev, Fernando Peres and Junivan Suares in this indicator.
