Rahman Dashdemirov, a football player of the Azerbaijan national team, shared his expectations regarding the match against the Icelandic national team in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
According to Idman.biz from Reykjavik, Dashdemirov emphasized that the national team came to Iceland to win.
"We came here for the maximum result, we prepared well and studied the opponent, we know their weaknesses and strengths. We don't want to return to Azerbaijan empty-handed," said Dashdemirov.
He also spoke about the adaptation of the players to the climate after a long flight.
"We arrived in Reykjavik early and there are no problems with that. I think we are well prepared. We came to get the maximum result," added Dashdemirov.
