Sport24.az reports that this was stated by the head coach of "Quba" Shahriyar Asgarov in a statement to the club's press service after the match with "Shaki" (56:78) in the XI round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
The coach said that there were losses in the squad:
"The scenario from previous games continued. The fact that our new transfer Jalen Reynolds could not arrive in time to undergo a medical examination made our job a little more difficult. Our next game is against "Ganja". We will go to this match to win. By that time, Zaur will recover, and Jalen will be able to play. I think it will be a completely different game. Neither "Ganja" nor "Shaki" are teams that we cannot beat. We showed this in three periods. The lack of squad depth simply played a role."
