The first team to qualify for the Turkish Super League for the new season has been determined.
According to QOL.az, "Kocaelispor" achieved this with 3 rounds remaining in the 1st League. The team has secured the championship and qualified for the elite, regardless of the results of the next rounds.
The victory of "Boluspor", which includes Azerbaijani footballer Vusal Iskandarli, over "Karagümrük" (1:0) confirmed that "Kocaelispor" will finish the season as the leader.
"Kocaelispor" last played in the Super League 16 years ago - in the 2008-2009 season.
