Juninho's departure from "Qarabağ" has been finalized. The Brazilian football player is on his way to "Flamengo". Although not officially announced yet, it is said that Juninho was sold for 5 million euros.
This raises a question - Did "Qarabağ", who sold Kady to a Russian club for 5 million euros, sell Juninho to the famous Brazilian club too cheaply?
Sport24.az reports that Asif Asgarov, a member of the Management Board of "Qarabağ" club, who gave an explanation to Sportal.az, spoke about the difficulties of selling players to foreign clubs at a high price:
"From our side, of course, we can estimate Juninho's value at 10 million euros. But the reality is different. In this matter, the level of the championship, the salary limit of football players, etc. nuances play an important role.
There are many reasons that are indicators of the value of a football player. In our case, there are almost no indicators that increase the value of a football player. Only "Qarabağ"'s football in Europe creates interest in football players like Juninho.
In the future, the level of our championship should rise so that our Premier League becomes an indicator for foreign clubs."
