"Qarabag" defeated "Sabail" in the first leg of the Azerbaijan Cup quarterfinals.
According to "Report", the team coached by Gurban Gurbanov celebrated a minimal victory in the match held at the ASCO Arena.
The only goal was scored in the 35th minute by Yassin Benzia into the home team's goal.
The return match between the sides will take place on February 27.
It should be noted that in the previous matches of this round, "Neftchi" defeated "Kapaz" 2:0 away, and "Araz-Nakhchivan" defeated "Zira" 1:0 at home. The match between "Sabah" and "Sumgayit" ended without a score.
