The 6th round of the Misli Premier League was marked by Prince Ovu's early red card.
Idman.biz reports that the "Gabala" player left his team with a man down in the 1st minute of the away game against "Qarabag".
Thus, Prince set an anti-record for the period when the Premier League was held under the PFL flag. Since the summer of 2008, no football player has received such an early red card.
Previously, the anti-record belonged to Dedimar Fereira. The "Kapaz" player "distinguished himself" in the 2007/08 season. He left his team with a man down in the 5th minute of the home match against "Sabail" (2:3) on November 18, 2017.
Milan Djuric, a "Zira" player, received a red card in the 9th minute in the 2017/18 season, and Faig Hajiyev, a "Turan Tovuz" player, in the 2023/24 season. Both players were penalized in a match against "Kapaz".
It should be noted that "Gabala" lost the away match to "Qarabag" with a score of 0:2.
