Outstripped Vinicius and Raphinha

Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez has been named Champions League Player of the Week. Sport24.az reports that the forward achieved this after scoring a double in the match against Bayer Leverkusen (2:1).

 

In this competition, Alvarez defeated Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid (double in the match against Salzburg), Raphinha from Barcelona (double in the match against Benfica), and Luuk de Jong from PSV (double in the match against Crvena Zvezda).
