Number of teams to be increased in Azerbaijan Premier League

The number of teams in the Misli Premier League is being increased.

According to "Report", a decision has been made on this matter at the AFFA Executive Committee.

The issue of increasing the number of clubs in the Misli Premier League was discussed at the meeting.

It was decided to increase the number of teams from 10 to 12 starting from the 2025/2026 season.

The regulations and format of the championship will be discussed at the next meeting of the Executive Committee.
