The revenue that the Norwegian national football team will generate from the match against Israel in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round will be donated to the people of Gaza for aid.
"Report" reports with reference to the Norwegian Football Association that the president of the organization, Lise Klaveness, made a statement about this.
She said that she cannot remain indifferent to the suffering and attacks on civilians:
"Israel participates in FIFA and UEFA competitions, and we must take this into account. We want to donate the revenue we receive to a humanitarian organization that saves the lives of people in Gaza and provides assistance in the area."
It should be noted that the Norway-Israel match will be held on October 11.
