A new appointment has been made to the coaching staff of "Neftchi". Sport24.az reports that this was announced by the press service of the Baku club.
Romanian Bogdan-Kornel Merișanu will serve as an athletic training coach. He worked at "Neftchi" until June 2023, when he was one of the assistants of head coach Laurentiu Reghecampf.
It should be noted that, as a coach, in addition to "Neftchi", he has worked in Romanian "Poli Timisoara" (2012-2016), "Universitatea Craiova" (2021-2022, 2023), Saudi Arabian "Al Wehda" (2018), "Al Ahli" (2021), "Al Tai" (2023-2024), UAE's "Al Wasl" (2019-2021), Tunisian "Esperance" (2024) clubs and the Romanian U-21 national team (2016-2018).
