According to "Report", "Neftchi" player Yuri Matias said this in an interview with "Prosport.ro" regarding the UEFA Europa League League stage match to be held in Baku between the Azerbaijani and Romanian representatives.
The 29-year-old defender said that the meeting will be difficult for the guests:
"FCSB also plays well in Europe. But they should know that an easy match does not await them here. "Qarabag" has made a name for itself in Europe in the last 10 years. The most historical and biggest club in the country is "Neftchi", but our opponent has been dominant in recent times. Many players have been together for 5-6 years. Their head coach has been in charge for 17 years. Regardless of who comes on the field, all the players know what to do."
Y. Matias singled out several players of the Aghdam representative:
"The best football player playing in Azerbaijan was Olavio Juninho. He also left "Qarabag". But there are many good players here. Abdullah Zubir, Julio Romao and Marko Jankovic play an important role in the team."
