"Napoli"'s sporting director Giovanni Manna has commented on the sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG. Sport24.az reports that the 23-year-old midfielder himself requested the transfer from "Napoli":
"The coach prepared the team well. We were ready for such a development. Everyone understands that an important player is leaving the club. Khvicha himself approached us with a transfer request. Great players come and go, but we continue to work."
It should be noted that PSG announced the signing of a contract with Kvaratskhelia until the summer of 2029 on January 17. The press reported that PSG paid 70 million euros for Kvaratskhelia.
Kvaratskhelia, who has been playing for "Napoli" since 2022, has played in 19 matches in the current season in all tournaments, scored 5 goals and made 3 assists.
