Musa Gurbanov, the brother of Qurban Gurbanov, the head coach of "Qarabag," has attracted attention with his interesting statements.
Idman.Biz reports that in an interview with futbolinfo.az, he also spoke about Musa Gurbanli, the son and namesake of Gurban Gurbanov.
Musa Gurbanov, who stated that he named Qurban's son after him due to their warm relationship, answered the question about his nephew's career as follows:
"He is still at the beginning of his journey. You know, there is innate talent, and there is rising to this level with hard work like me and Qurban. Musa also didn't have great talent since childhood. But he was so passionate about football. Musa probably spent half of the day training. It is still like that now. He had shortcomings in terms of strength and speed since childhood. But his game intelligence and football knowledge are good. I believe that the bright periods of his career are still ahead."
Musa Gurbanov's uncle also commented on why Musa Gurbanli's Swedish career, who was previously transferred to "Djurgården," did not work out:
"That's a bit of a different place. Both in terms of mentality and because the conditions here were not there... "Djurgården" did not have a base. There was a training place outside, and there were no opportunities to stay there. Musa was not used to these things. He could not get the opportunities here there. That's why he had difficulties. Also, the climate took its toll. He is a very sociable child, but the environment was not like that there. The lack of a club base, not training as he wanted, and getting injured took its toll. Since he is a bit of a withdrawn child, loneliness affected him badly. All of these added up and turned into a problem."
It should be noted that Musa Gurbanov was also a professional football player in the past. He played a major role in the arrival of his brother Gurban Gurbanov, who is currently the head coach of "Qarabag," in football.
"When I started playing, Gurban was in front of my eyes. After seeing his perspective and his passion for football, I took him with me. When I was playing in "Goyazan," I saw that our football horizons were wide and insisted on bringing Gurban to play. But he also had "something in his blood." He stood out from his peers due to his physical strength and handling of the ball," said Musa Gurbanov, explaining the role he played in his brother's arrival in big football.
