"We really played a very bad game today. We couldn't focus on the match in both defense and offense." Sport24.az reports that the head coach of "Nakhchivan" Murat Dikmen said this in a statement to the club's press service after the game with NTD in the XII round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
The Turkish specialist stated that his team played very poorly in defense: "The opponent's 95 points are a clear example of this. We performed very badly in defense. Unfortunately, we did not have a good start to the second round. We lost to both "Neftchi" and NTD in a row. Also, this team has managed to rise to the leadership before. I hope that we will be better prepared for the match with "Serhedchi". We must eliminate our shortcomings and come out to win the next meeting. We must now show character in the upcoming matches. I know we have the strength to do it. We must quickly recover and continue on our way."
It should be noted that "Nakhchivan" lost to NTD with a score of 70:95.
