Turkey's head coach Vincenzo Montella commented on the defeat to Australia in the 2026 World Cup. According to Sport24.az, the expert said the following about the match that ended 0:2:
"The game did not go as we tactically expected. We conceded two goals, which is very disappointing. We showed our team spirit, played with heart. If we continue like this, we will get the results we want. We will do better in the next game".
The Turkish national team will play their next match against Paraguay on June 17th.
