Nuremberg head coach Miroslav Klose commented on the performance of the team's Azerbaijani striker Mahir Emreli in the match against Karlsruhe (2:1) in the 18th round of the German Second Bundesliga. Sport24.az reports that the German expert, speaking to Nordbayern, expressed positive thoughts about Emreli:
"Mahir had to attract the attention of at least two of the opponent's central defenders inside the penalty area. Tsimas couldn't do it alone. Mahir Emreli put on a strong game. It is important for him to have the ball under constant control. Otherwise, it is more difficult for him. He already knows how and where to move."
Our national team striker appeared in the starting lineup in the match against Karlsruhe and was substituted in the 72nd minute.
