Memphis Depay, a Dutch footballer for the Brazilian club Corinthians, has been penalized for drunk driving.
"Report" reports, citing "RMC Sport", that the striker has been fined 9,000 euros.
The 30-year-old footballer was detained on August 6, 2024, in Monaco while driving under the influence. A check revealed that he was driving while intoxicated.
It should be noted that M. Depay, a graduate of PSV, began his professional career in 2011. As part of the Dutch club, he became the champion and cup winner of the country. During his career, the striker, who played for clubs such as Manchester United and Barcelona, transferred to Corinthians last summer.
