During his visit to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, for the DÇ-2026 draw ceremony, Rovshan Najaf, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), met with Mohsen Gilani, President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). Sport24.az reports that during the meeting, AFFA and PFF signed a Memorandum of Understanding providing for the expansion of cooperation in the field of football.
The purpose of signing the document is to strengthen partnership between the national associations of the two countries, develop football and further strengthen international relations.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the organization of training camps, holding friendly matches between national teams of different age groups, supporting women's football, futsal, beach and disabled football, as well as in the exchange and education of referees. This agreement will not only contribute to the development of football in both countries, create new opportunities for young football players, coaches and referees, but will also further strengthen friendship and mutual trust between AFFA and PFF.
