If the opponent had been lucky at the end of the match, the game would have ended in a draw.
"Report" informs that this was said by the head coach of the Hungarian national team, Marko Rossi, at a press conference after the friendly match against the Azerbaijani national team in Baku.
The expert commented on the game in which they won:
"We treated the opponent with respect. We wanted to win. We achieved the desired result. The Azerbaijani national team had chances to score a goal. If the opponent had been lucky at the end of the match, the game would have ended in a draw."
He highlighted the performance of Mahir Emreli in the Azerbaijani national team:
"Today, Mahir Emreli showed himself in a good way tactically. It is no coincidence that Mahir recently played in the II Bundesliga. Other players in the Azerbaijani national team also tried to prove themselves. But frankly, we cannot highly evaluate your team's game today."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Hungary match held at the "Liv Bona Dea Arena" ended with a 2:1 victory for the guests.
