"Qarabagh is not performing very successfully in European cups this season". These words were said by Mahmud Gurbanov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the "Qarabagh" - FCSB match held in Baku yesterday:
"FCSB performed better in standard situations. They were well prepared, especially for corner kicks. The opponent analyzed "Qarabagh" well. Juninho was not a bad striker. It must now be accepted that he is gone. From now on, we have to play without Juninho. Nariman Akhundzadeh did not play badly in attack yesterday. It is not correct to attribute the defeat to the absence of Juninho".
It should be noted that "Qarabagh" lost to FCSB (Romania) in the VII round of the League stage of the Europa League - 2:3.
