According to the famous German publication "Bild", Mahir Emreli's performance in "Nuremberg" made him one of the heroes of the match against "Kaiserslautern" in the 29th round of the II Bundesliga. Sport24.az reports that the 27-year-old striker is considered one of the three players who determined the fate of the match.
The others are goalkeeper Jan Reichert and midfielder Fabio Gruber. The goalkeeper saved his team from a goal in many episodes of the match. Gruber opened the scoring, while Emreli was the author of the second goal.
The Azerbaijani forward also spoke about the goal he scored in the locker room after the match: "I felt that I was in a position to shoot. There was a bit of distance. But the ball was also on my left foot."
It should be noted that "Nuremberg" defeated its opponent with a score of 2:1.
