Barcelona's footballer Lamine Yamal has been chosen as the best player of La Liga in April, while Mallorca's coach Martin Demichelis has been selected as the best coach. Sport24.az reports that the league's press service has released this information.
Last month, Lamine contributed to his team's three victories. In April, he scored two goals and provided two assists in the matches he played. In the voting, Barcelona's winger surpassed Vedat Muriqi (Mallorca), Carlos Soler (Real Sociedad), Lucas Boye (Alaves), and Fede Vina (Oviedo).
Yamal suffered a thigh muscle injury in the match against Celta. The footballer will miss the last games of the season.
Demichelis's Mallorca won two of the three matches they played in April and drew one. In the voting, the Argentine surpassed Guillermo Almada from Oviedo and Hans-Dieter Flick from Barcelona.
It should be noted that Barcelona is leading La Liga with 82 points. Demichelis's Mallorca is in 15th place.
