The absolute record belongs to Alexander Sorloth. The Norwegian striker scored 9 goals after coming on as a substitute in Atletico's games.
He broke the record shared by three Spaniards. Juan Antonio Pizzi, Alvaro Morata and Angel Rodriguez each scored 8 goals in one season.
