Chaos reigns in the camp of "Karvan-Yevlax," which will face "Qarabağ" in the XIII round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "teleqraf" that Azer Hashimov, the head coach of the club with an official contract, has been sent away from the team, and Fuzuli Mammadov has been brought in unofficially in his place.
Fuzuli Mammadov has already joined the camp of "Karvan-Yevlax" for several days and is preparing the team for the next game.
However, the problem is that the club management has not yet officially parted ways with Azer Hashimov.
Azer Hashimov also confirmed this in his statement to the website. He stated that the contract can only be terminated if compensation is paid:
"They just made such a decision. They do as they want. The management has not met with me yet. Two days after the game with "Kapaz," they called me and said that I should resign. I also said that I would not resign without receiving my compensation. Azer Hashimov has always protected his rights, pride, and reputation when he played football, and he still does today. Maybe I am known as a calm person in Azerbaijani football. We are trying to cope with our work. But there are rules. Therefore, my contract is until May, and I will not agree to anything without receiving my compensation. I have no thoughts about the next round. They told me one word: don't come."
Answering the question about who will manage the team in the game against "Qarabağ", Elgiz Abbasov, the technical and sports director of the Professional Football League, said that the PFL has not received any appeal from "Karvan Yevlax" regarding Azer Hashimov's departure or a new head coach:
"The head coach must have a registration order to bring the team to the game. At the moment, the document we have shows that Azer Hashimov is the head coach."
As you can see, "Karvan-Yevlax" currently has two head coaches. One official and the other unofficial. It seems that if the issue is not resolved within two days, that is, before the match against "Qarabağ" on November 29, the Yevlax representative will play against the Agdam club without a head coach.
The president of "Karvan-Yevlax" Kenan Kerimov and the unofficial head coach Fuzuli Mammadov did not comment on the matter. The club's press service said that it will issue an official statement on the matter tomorrow.
