Colombian national team striker John Duran will move to Benfica on loan.
Sport.Biz reports this, citing journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano.
According to the source, the contract also includes an optional transfer clause. Duran rejected the offers of two Champions League clubs, preferring to play under the leadership of Portuguese head coach Marco Silva.
The salary of the striker will be paid jointly by Al-Nasr, which owns the rights to the Colombian footballer, and Benfica. He is scheduled to undergo a medical examination this weekend.
The striker spent the second half of the 2025/2026 season at Zenit St. Petersburg, playing six games in the Russian Premier League and scoring one goal.
