The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has reduced the number of men's football teams for the Olympic Games to be held in the USA in 2028.
"Report" informs that this was stated to journalists by IOC Sports Director Kit McConnell.
12 teams will compete in the men's tournament at the Los Angeles Games. Previously, 16 national teams were represented in the competition. At the same time, the number of teams in the women's tournament will be increased from 12 to 16.
It should be noted that the Los Angeles Olympics will be held from July 14 to 30.
