"Inter" will finalize the transfer of defender Manuel Akanji in May. This was reported by the Italian press, according to Sport24.az.
It was previously reported that the "Nerazzurri" had decided to activate the player's purchase option from "Manchester City" for 15 million euros. "Inter" will buy Akanji regardless of whether they become champions this season or not.
The Milanese club has already agreed personal contract terms with the player until 2028 (with the option of an additional season). Akanji's salary will be 3.75 million euros per year.
It should be noted that the 30-year-old Swiss player joined "Inter" on loan last summer for 1 million euros. The defender has made 45 appearances this season and scored two goals.
