"He had a great contribution to "Karabakh" and to me". Sport24.az reports that this was said by the head coach of "Karabakh" Gurban Gurbanov, while talking about the death of Abdolbari Gozal, the honorary president of the Agdam representative.
The 52-year-old specialist said that the death of the club functionary was a heavy loss:
"This is a heavy loss for both the club and Azerbaijani football. He took every step in life thoughtfully. He did what he did for "Karabakh" with love. There is sadness in the club. We want to fully prepare our players for the game. But we will not be able to erase it from our memory. May God have mercy on him".
It should be noted that Abdolbari Gozal, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Azersun Holding" LLC, died on January 18 at the age of 75. He was the honorary president of the "Karabakh" club.
