The Turkmen specialist participated in the opening of the sector named after him at the "Ak Bars Arena" during the "Rubin" - "Fakel" match in the 26th round of the Russian Premier League.
Gurban Berdyev symbolically made the first touch on the ball in the game.
He was presented with a commemorative gift by the president of "Rubin", Marat Safiullin.
It should be noted that Gurban Berdyev coached "Rubin" in 2001-2013 and 2017-2019.
