Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola spoke about the future of his player Ilkay Gundogan at the club. Sport24.az reports that he confirmed an agreement has been reached to extend the 34-year-old midfielder's contract:
"Gundogan has a contract for one more year. I don't know what will happen in the summer, but now his contract is until the summer of next year."
It should be noted that it was previously written in the press that Ilkay had signed a contract with the "citizens" until the summer of 2026. In the current season of the Premier League, Gundogan has provided 4 assists in 28 matches.
