Former Turkish national football player Gökhan Gönül has been detained.
Idman.Biz reports, citing Turkish media, that the 40-year-old former defender was arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of manipulation in some stock market transactions.
It should be noted that G.Gönül wore the jerseys of "Fenerbahçe" and "Beşiktaş" clubs during his career. He became the national champion 2 times with "Fenerbahçe" and 1 time with "Beşiktaş".
