The "Girls Futsal Cup" among girls under 14 was held in Guba with the organization of AFFA and the support of UEFA.
"Report" reports with reference to the official website of the national association that 7 teams competed in two groups in the tournament organized at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex.
The top two teams in the groups faced each other in the play-off stage. Secondary school No. 4 became the winner of the tournament. II and III places were taken by Zardabi village secondary school and secondary school No. 7, respectively.
Gulayi Jafarova, a student of secondary school No. 2, became the most productive player of the tournament with 4 goals. Nihan Ismayilova, a student of secondary school No. 7, was named the best player, and Gulayi Babaaliyeva, a student of Zardabi village secondary school, was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
The top three winners were awarded with diplomas and medals, and the winning team was awarded with a cup. The awards were presented by Amina Hasanova, head of the Women's Football Department of AFFA, Habib Agayev, head coach of the U-19 (girls) national team, and Nargiz Gurbanova, head coach of the U-17 (girls) national team.
It should be noted that the main goal of organizing the project is to attract new female football players to the AFFA U-15 Girls League and national teams in the lower age group in the future. The participating teams were provided with sports clothing and equipment by AFFA and UEFA.
