A legal assessment has been given to the scandal that occurred in the Azerbaijan Futsal Cup. Sport24.az reports that the AFFA Disciplinary Committee discussed the events that took place in the "Neftchi" SC - "Star Cargo" match.
Garib Ibrahimov, a player for "Star Cargo", received a straight red card in the 17th minute of the match for using offensive, unethical language or gestures. After being penalized, he physically assaulted the referee. AFFA has suspended the futsal player for 5 matches.
