"We played our first game after the New Year holiday. We knew the game wouldn't be easy," Sport24.az reports, quoting Ganja volleyball player Anastasia Atepalina.
The blocker shared her thoughts on the High League's Round V match against Azərreyl: "Therefore, we prepared seriously for this game. We analyzed the opponent team's players and game system. Because the opponent is a strong team. We achieved our goal. Of course, we made mistakes, but we tried to eliminate the mistakes and win."
Anastasia stated that they will move towards the target: "We succeeded in this and were able to defeat the opponent with a score of 3:0. We still have many games ahead. We will continue our preparations at a high level to reach our main goal."
It should be noted that Ganja representative, who won their 3rd victory of the season, rose to the 2nd place in the tournament table.
