Galatasaray football club has officially announced the transfer of French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu.
According to Sport.Biz, the 22-year-old player has joined the Istanbul club on loan from Burnley. The loan deal is worth €3.5 million.
Ugochukwu is a product of Rennes' youth system. In 2023, he moved to Chelsea for €27 million. He spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Southampton, then left the London club to join Burnley in 2025.
Galatasaray won the Turkish championship last season and will compete in the Champions League next season. Meanwhile, Burnley has been relegated from the English Premier League and will play in the Championship.
