The Qatar national team could be entrusted to Frenchman Christophe Galtier. Sport24.az reports that the Qatar Football Federation has started negotiations with the coach of Al-Duhail.
The federation sent an offer to the 58-year-old coach because it was not satisfied with the results of the team led by Luis Garcia.
Qatar may not qualify for the 2026 World Cup, as the national team is in 4th place in its group.
It should be reminded that Galtier was appointed head coach of Al-Duhail in October 2023. He won the Ligue 1 title with PSG.
