The first team to leave Ligue 1 in France has been determined.
According to QOL.az, it has become clear that "Montpellier" has lost its chance to compete in the elite division with 4 rounds remaining until the end of the season.
In the 31st round, "Havr", which is in 16th place, drew (1:1) with "Monaco", increasing its point reserve to 28. Thus, it was confirmed that "Montpellier", which is in 18th place with 15 points, will be relegated to League 2.
"Montpellier" last competed in League 2 in the 2008/09 season. The club became champion for the first and so far last time in its history in League 1 in the 2011/2012 season.
