Dimitri Payet, who plays for the Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, has been accused of mental, physical, and sexual abuse.
Report, citing RMC Sport, reports that the allegation was made by Brazilian lawyer Larissa Ferrari.
She filed a complaint with the local police in March, and an investigation into the matter has begun.
L. Ferrari stated that their first argument was in December. The woman also said that the 38-year-old winger beat her.
It should be noted that Dimitri Payet won a silver medal at the European Championship with the French national team in 2016. He became famous for his performances at Marseille.
