Former Azerbaijani national team goalkeeper transferred to Sabail

Former Azerbaijani national team goalkeeper Mehdi Cennetov has transferred to Sabail football club.

Idman.Biz reports that the club has officially announced this information.

A one-year contract with the option of extension was signed with the 34-year-old goalkeeper.

The goalkeeper, who was trained by Russian club Anji, has played for Sumgayit and Zira in Azerbaijan.

Note that M. Cennetov has played 5 games for the Azerbaijani national team.
