Former Azerbaijani national team goalkeeper Mehdi Cennetov has transferred to Sabail football club.

A one-year contract with the option of extension was signed with the 34-year-old goalkeeper.
The goalkeeper, who was trained by Russian club Anji, has played for Sumgayit and Zira in Azerbaijan.
Note that M. Cennetov has played 5 games for the Azerbaijani national team.
