The family members of Jackson Rodriguez, who plays for the Ecuadorian club "Emelec", have been kidnapped. According to Sport24.az, the Ecuadorian left-back's house was attacked this morning.
The robbers kidnapped the 26-year-old footballer's wife and son.
In addition, the robbers stole expensive jewelry, money, and other household appliances from the house. Ecuadorian police are investigating the incident.
Jackson Rodriguez himself is currently under the control of law enforcement agencies.
