FIFA has published the official match schedule for the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the opening match of the tournament will be between Mexico and South Africa on June 11 at 23:00 Baku time. The next match will be between South Korea and one of the UEFA play-off winners at 08:00 on the same day.
On June 12, Canada will face a UEFA play-off winner at 23:00 Baku time. The USA - Paraguay game will start at 05:00.
Four matches will be held every day until June 23. Match start times will range from 20:00 to 08:00 Baku time.
In the last round of the group stage, six matches are planned per day, and the games will be held from 23:00–00:00 to 06:00–07:00.
Round of 32 matches will start from 20:00 to 07:00 Baku time, and round of 16 matches will start from 20:00 to 04:00.
The quarter-final matches will be held on July 9 at 00:00, July 10 at 23:00, and on July 13 at 01:00 and 05:00.
The semi-final matches will be held on July 14 and 15 at 23:00 Baku time.
The third-place match will be held on July 20 at 01:00, and the final match will be held on the same day at 23:00.
Note that the World Cup will be held next summer from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
