Liverpool defeated Tottenham 4-0 in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final, securing their place in the tournament final.
According to "Report", the goals were scored by Cody Gakpo (34th minute), Mohamed Salah (51st minute, penalty), Dominik Szoboszlai (75th minute), and Virgil van Dijk (80th minute).
Tottenham had won the first leg between the two teams 1-0.
In the final, Liverpool will face Newcastle, who defeated Arsenal in the semi-finals (2-0, 2-0). The decisive match will be held on March 16 at Wembley Stadium in London.
It should be noted that the English League Cup, held since 1960, involves clubs from the top four divisions of the country's championship. The winning team earns the right to participate in the Conference League the following season.
